I LOVE tomatoes. And tomato-based things. The rest of my family usually does not but this was a big hit! Heard lots of “oh my gosh I love this!” Not expensive, not hard.
For the most part, if the recipe is by Paula Deen, I will love it. But because I cannot ever not tweak a recipe, here’s what I did differently :
*Added no sugar
*Used our fave spaghetti sauce where it calls for tomato sauce
*Halved the salt
*Added chopped, sauteed green bell pepper (probably will add spinach next time!)
*Used more cheese than it calls for, because, CHEESE.
I love closeups of food! So many great colors and details… oh, and I used different pasta because that’s what I have on hand. Totally fine.
P.S. OH MY GOSH, I am so embarrased by my dirty stove! Just real life, eh?
